Norton ebooks retain the authoritative content of Norton textbooks at a fraction of the cost of a printed text. Students and instructors can highlight, annotate, and bookmark their ebooks. Additional ebook features include compatibility with mobile devices, interactive content (videos, self-assessment) embedded into select Norton ebooks, and instructor highlights and annotations that can be shared with students.
Norton began transitioning our educational ebooks to the new Norton Ebook Reader platform in 2021. The new platform offers redesigned navigation features, updated annotation tools, and offline access. Because the transition to the new Norton Ebook Reader is ongoing, many ebooks published before 2022 are still offered through the classic version of the Norton Ebook Reader. To find out if your ebook is being delivered through the "classic" view, click the account menu on the top-right of the ebook reader screen. If "switch to classic view" is not an option, you are in the classic reader.
