Enabling JavaScript within Internet Browsers

Most of Norton's digital products require JavaScript to be enabled to function properly. Click on the link below that matches the operating system and internet browser you are using to view instructions on how to enable JavaScript.

Windows/Microsoft Edge

JavaScript is enabled by default in the Microsoft Edge browser when using Windows.


Windows/Chrome

Instructions to enable JavaScript can be found by visiting Microsoft's official support page


Windows/Firefox

JavaScript is enabled by default in the Firefox browser when using Windows.


Mac/Safari

From the Safari menu, select Settings Security tab.

Click the Enable JavaScript check box.

Click Close and refresh the browser.


Mac/Chrome

Mac/Firefox

JavaScript is enabled by default in the Firefox browser when using macOS.


iOS/Safari

Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced and toggle to turn on JavaScript.


Android/Chrome

Open the Chrome app: on your Android phone or tablet.

Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner.

From the menu, select Settings >Advanced 

Find and tap on JavaScript.

Toggle the switch: to turn JavaScript on.
